Every year, Italy becomes a more popular destination for weddings, and it might just happen that those guests you invited and never expected to come DO show up! It is also a very real possibility that you don’t follow some of the basic steps to make attending your wedding as easy as possible for all your loved ones. Whether you’d like to avoid planning for 50 guests and ending up with more, or to make sure you’re surrounded by hundreds of familiar faces, it’s all up to you!
Read on for some tips…
How to guarantee that most of your guests will accept the invitation:
· Be sure to choose a wedding planner who can ensure you have a travel consultant who makes all your guests feel taken care of
· Be sure to include name and contact information for said travel consultant or wedding planner so that you don’t have to deal with all your guests travel issues
· Choose a wedding estate that is both magical for you and suitable for your guests
· If transfers are necessary during the wedding festivities, have safe, organized transportation organized for them
· Choose a location that is not ridiculously far from a city or the airport all your guests will be flying into
· Organize a welcome dinner and some sort of farewell get-together
How to guarantee that only the most dedicated invitees will make it to the wedding:
· Don’t read the above list
· Choose something very expensive and let natural selection work its magic
(It’s harder to fill this last list up….
if you have some suggestions let me know, I’ll add them to the list.)
A well-planned destination wedding becomes a special time for family and friends to get together and share your special moment…if, of course, that’s your idea of the perfect day. And that’s just the point…whether your ideal wedding in Italy includes a pool full of loved ones in the Tuscan countryside or just you and your husband-to-be toasting each other in peace with generous glasses of Brunello wine, you have to trust your instincts. It’s all up to you.
